I bought several pontoons for a project to bridge a river on my property. The idea was that in a flood the pontoons would raise the bridge above the flood waters and therefore save it. It was maybe ahead of its time in concept but in practice worked really well , so easy to assemble and it’s rugged construction has meant no maintenance so a win for me
